An unidentified man was allegedly hacked to death by unidentified persons in Mailardevpally on Wednesday.
According to local residents, the attackers assaulted the victim with a knife, leaving him dead at the spot.
On receiving information, the Mailardevpally police rushed to the spot and began an investigation.
Police are probing whether the murder was linked to old rivalries or stemmed from other reasons
