Heavy rains continue to throw life out of gear in erstwhile Adilabad

Erstwhile Adilabad district continued to see moderate to heavy rains for the third day on Friday, disrupting normal life. Hilly streams were swollen, flooding causeways and damaging roads. Consequently, connectivity of rural parts was affected in Adilabad, Kumram Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial and Nirmal districts. Huts and tin-roofed houses collapsed, rendering the poor homeless.
