Hyderabad civic bodies join traffic police to ease peak-hour congestion

Cyberabad Municipal Corporation (CMC) and Malkajgiri Municipal Corporation (MMC) have launched an exercise with traffic police to improve traffic flow and reduce peak-hour congestion on key stretches in their respective jurisdictions. Officials of the civic bodies are studying traffic movement at major junctions, identifying possible free-left turns and U-turns, and removing footpath encroachments to improve pedestrian safety and daily commutes.
