Historic Gollala Gudi temple in Mulugu added to India’s national monuments list

The Archaelogical Survey of India (ASI) has notified a temple ‘Gollala Gudi’ in Palampet village of Mulugu district as a monument of national importance. The temple is located on the South-West side of the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Kakatiya Rudreshwara (Ramappa) Temple. The temple is a ‘Trikutalaya’ and consists of a mandapa facing East and surrounded by three ‘garbhagrihas’.
