Uttar Pradesh Eyes Tech Leadership as Yogi Holds High-Level Talks With Google, NVIDIA And Global Investors
Bengaluru: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday engaged with Google Cloud executives and leading global investors in Bengaluru as part of efforts to position the state as a major hub for technology, innovation, investment and employment generation.
During his Bengaluru visit, the Chief Minister held a key meeting with Google Cloud Chief Technology Officer Tarun Pant and his team. The interaction, held ahead of a series of roundtable discussions and investor outreach programmes, focused on leveraging artificial intelligence, cloud computing, digital governance and data-driven solutions to accelerate Uttar Pradesh's development agenda.

Yogi Adityanath outlined the state government's vision of improving public services, enhancing farmers' incomes, creating new opportunities for youth, strengthening the start-up ecosystem and connecting micro, small and medium enterprises with emerging technologies.
Discussions centred on how technology can improve the delivery and effectiveness of government services while creating innovation-led solutions for farmers, entrepreneurs, start-ups, MSMEs and ordinary citizens.Google representatives described the meeting as constructive and forward-looking. They said the Chief Minister presented a clear roadmap for Uttar Pradesh's development and shared the state's priorities for farmers, youth, start-ups and small businesses. The company also expressed interest in exploring ways in which artificial intelligence and modern technologies could help accelerate these goals.A Google India representative said, “Google remains fully committed to India's growth and is excited about opportunities to work with the Uttar Pradesh government in advancing these development objectives.”The Chief Minister also held separate discussions with senior leaders from major investment and technology firms, including WestBridge Capital Managing Partner Sandeep Singhal, Accel Partners' Prashant Prakash, InMobi founder Piyush Shah, Yulu founder Amit Gupta, NVIDIA South Asia Managing Director Vishal Dhupar, representatives of Sarvam AI and senior officials from Blackstone.The meetings focused on investment opportunities, technological innovation, artificial intelligence, start-up growth and employment generation in Uttar Pradesh. Industry leaders highlighted the state's improving infrastructure, better law and order environment and investor-friendly policies, describing it as one of India's most promising destinations for business expansion and innovation.
